The company

Tomoku Hus AB was founded in 1991 since the former company Insjöhus AB went into bankruptcy. The company is now one hundred percent owned by Japanese companies. These companies are Tomoku Co. Ltd.(60%), Sweden House Co. Ltd.(20%), Mitsubishi Corporation (15%) and Mitsubishi International GmbH (5%).

We are one of the leading manufacturers of prefabricated wall components for wooden houses in Sweden. Except from wall components, we are also producing our own windows and window doors. These products are made in our window factory, built in 2002. Today, most of our products are exported to Japan. Sweden House in Tokyo takes care of the orders and the sales with the Japanese customers. We are also selling our products on other markets, yet in a smaller scale.

Our capacity (one shift) is about 2500 houses per year and about 45000 windows/window doors per year. The production volume in 2006 was 1794 houses and 34400 windows/window doors. Our turnover is about 340 million Swedish Kronor and number of employees is 80 persons. The Manager Director for the company is Masafumi Okazaki.
